Get Kadhai
Two ways to run the same app: the desktop app on Windows, or the code on any system. Both are free, need no account and keep everything on your computer.
Desktop app
Kadhai in a window of its own, with a Start-menu entry. Everything it needs is inside: no Node.js to install.
- "Windows protected your PC"? The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen does not know it. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Your files (keys, settings, crew, flows) are kept in
%APPDATA%\Kadhai Beta. - To remove it, use Settings > Apps > Kadhai Beta. Your files stay, in case you install it again.
From the code
The same app, run from a terminal and opened in your browser. The best way if you want the newest changes, or to help build it.

Then open localhost:4747. Full steps on get started.
An ordinary laptop is enough, with no graphics card. No model runs on your machine: the thinking happens at the providers you add keys for.
An internet connection and a free key from Gemini, Groq or Cerebras. The demo works without one.
New versions appear on the releases page. On GitHub, choose Watch > Custom > Releases to hear about them.
