what happens when you press Enter
How a run works
- You ask in plain words.A request, a question about earlier work, or a file attached to the chat.
- The Chef plans.A short plan of separate steps, each marked simple, standard or complex, plus a check command such as
npm test. - The cooks write the code. Each step goes to one cook, which locks its files and changes them with small search-and-replace edits. An edit that does not apply cleanly writes nothing.
- Commands wait for you. When a cook wants to run something, you see the exact command and press Run or Deny.
- The Taster checks, the Fixer fixes. The check command runs for real; its output and every changed file go to review. A failing check forces a fix. Switch the Taster off to skip the review.
- You get a report.View every change as a diff, open the page it made, or undo the whole run.

providers
free by default
When one free tier says "slow down", the next one carries on.
Add free keys from Gemini, Groq, Cerebras or seven more. Each provider, key and model is a route; a rate-limited route rests until the provider says it may try again, and the same request goes to the next. Paid keys and the subscriptions you already have (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI) work too, capped by a daily token limit.
