Troubleshooting

"Kadhai is not answering. Is it still running?" The server was stopped (the terminal was closed, or the computer slept). Start it again with npm start; the page reconnects by itself.

Port 4747 is already in use. Another copy of Kadhai (or another program) is using it. Close it, or start with another port: set PORT=4800 in .env.

Every model is "cooling down" and the run stopped. The free quotas are used up for now. The message says when the next slot opens. Adding a key from a second provider helps most; high flame uses quota faster than low flame.

A model shows as off with "model retired". The provider removed that model. Open keys, then Browse models on that provider and pick a current one.

The crew is waiting and nothing happens. Look for a command card in the chat: it is waiting for your Run or Deny. An unanswered command is refused after five minutes.

Undo this run is missing or fails. Undo needs git on your PATH, and only the most recent run can be undone.

A connection keeps asking me to sign in, or opens a browser tab each start. If you start a sign-in and do not finish it, Kadhai stops starting that connection by itself; its card shows Sign in for when you are ready. Disconnect it if you do not want it.

The kitchen looks different on another computer. Themes use fonts installed on your computer; where one is missing, a similar font is used.
